Pro Tools only recognizes a certain format and a lot of these D-50 banks are in other binary formats so I couldnt load them.

I have the D50ve beta which is good for getting individual patches to and from the D-50 but it wont do a complete bank dump.

Ive tried Midiox too, but for some reason the D-50 gives me a midi communication error when I attempt the dump and only transfers a few patches.

I tested with Pro Tools and the dumps work fine so its not the D-50, its either midiox or the bank format.I cant tell.

Ive been trying both handshake and one-way and using Bomes progam Ive found that I can send a bulk dump to the computer but cant send one back to the D-50.

Im still getting a midi communication error from the D-50 when I try.

Cables seem to be fine and both in and out are connected correctly.

Between each sysex received must be a break of about 30 - 50 msecs.

Here you can slow down speed via the tempo control if it is to fast.

I can do a one way dump but only with the banks that I have made and recorded as sysex info into Pro Tools.

What Im trying to do is get banks into the D-50 that werent created by me.

There are converted with a tool called syx2mid which is a dos application but it does a great job.
